Are you a union member? Do you believe we need political education to rebuild a powerful trade union movement? Would you like to be a better organiser and see more of your members become organisers too? Then this is the course for you!
Workers Power - Organising to Win is a 2.5 day trade union education course run by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (we ran Organise4Power with legendary late US union organiser Jane Mcalevey).
Strikes, colonialism, neoliberalism and austerity, we break it all down in interactive sessions alongside workshopping strategies for engaging with power and connecting with other workers to win the changes we need.
We also learn practical organising skills, rooted in our lived experience to take back into the workplace and build union power that can transform our society for good.
This course is for any trade union member wanting to become an organiser in their branch or workplace.
This course is run by the Centre for Popular Education - a project of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung London Office and taught by experienced trade union organisers.
